Aims

We aim for all trainees to:

• Develop deep expertise in their chosen phase and subject(s).
• Receive evidence-informed training that integrates theory with real-world classroom practice.
• Critically engage with educational research through our PGCE programme.
• Feel a strong sense of belonging and support within the teaching profession.
• Champion inclusive teaching practices, especially for pupils with SEND and those with English as an Additional Language (EAL).
• Cultivate the agency to advocate for a fairer and more equitable education system. 
  
• Be well-prepared, reflective, resilient, and passionate as they begin the next stage of their teaching careers.
