How to apply
All teacher training courses are applied for via the Department for Education’s ‘Apply for Teacher Training’ portal. To apply for the academic year 2024/25 the application portal opens on Tuesday 10 October 2023.
To register your interest in a SWIFT Teacher Training course, in advance of applying, please complete the form in the link below. We will keep you up to date with information on events, courses and applying for teacher training.
Bursaries and Scholarships
Postgraduate teaching bursaries and scholarships are only available for the subjects listed below. You cannot receive both a teaching bursary and a scholarship.
You must be eligible for student finance to receive a bursary or scholarship (unless you’re training to teach physics or languages).
You cannot receive a scholarship or bursary if you’re on a salaried teacher training course.
